Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This policy explains how MultiLister (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use our multi-channel e-commerce listing and order-management service (the “Service”). We are the data controller for your account data, and a data processor for the order and customer data you bring in from your sales channels.
Information we collect
- Account data — your name, email address, and billing details (handled by our payments provider).
- Channel connections — API credentials/tokens for the sales channels you connect (e.g. eBay, WooCommerce), stored to operate the Service on your behalf.
- Catalogue data — your products, prices, stock, suppliers, and related information.
- Order data — orders pulled from your connected channels, including buyer name and shipping address, used to fulfil and dispatch those orders.
- Usage data — basic technical logs needed to run and secure the Service.
How we use your data
To provide the Service: importing your catalogue, publishing listings to your connected channels, syncing stock, managing orders, generating invoices and dispatch labels, and supporting your account. We do not sell your data.
Service providers we share data with
We use a small set of processors strictly to run the Service:
- Database hosting — your data is stored in a managed database hosted in the EU (Ireland).
- Application hosting — our application and logs run on our cloud hosting provider.
- Payments — billing is handled by our payments provider; we do not store full card details.
- Sales channels — we exchange data with the channels you connect (e.g. eBay, WooCommerce) to list products and pull orders, at your instruction.
- Shipping — where you use Royal Mail Click & Drop, recipient details are sent to Royal Mail to create your postage.
- AI features (optional) — if you opt in to AI title/description tools, product text is sent to our AI provider. This is off by default.
International transfers
Where data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses / the UK addendum) provided by the relevant processor.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period, subject to any legal retention obligations.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these, contact us using the details below.
Buyer data from connected channels
When you connect a sales channel, we process the buyer personal data attached to your orders (such as name and shipping address) solely to help you fulfil those orders. You remain responsible for your own customers’ data under your channel agreements.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
